To provide a design that reflected two different family businesses was the challenge. Having always been a fan of retro design, I decided to use the era as the link between them, as it 'fit' with the time the Fitness Family founded the businesses.
The 'Retro Cowch' was hand painted, after initial vector illustration design. From there an outline was created in white decal, then applied to the cow with a adhesive mask before being hand painted.
Big thanks to my Dad - Graeme Martin, an ex-Morrinsville sign writer and painter extraordinaire, who prepped the cow to provide a great surface to work on.
